Founder of SapceX company Ilon Mask on his Twitter page published a photo showing the final design of the manned spacecraft Crew Dragon.

The ship is designed to deliver crews on board the International Space Station, and in 2024 SpaceX intends to use Crew Dragon to send the mission to Mars.

It is assumed that after completing the main tests in SpaceX, the ship will be delivered to the cosmodrome at Cape Canaveral for additional tests. According to the idea, the ship will be able to take on board up to seven crew members or four people and cargo. In SpaceX, it is planned that Crew Dragon will be able to be returned to Earth and re-used.

At the moment, the only way to deliver the ISS crews are the Soyuz.

SpaceX uses Dragon cargo ships to deliver cargo to the station and put satellites into orbit.

In early February, it became known that the US Air Force destroyed part of the Falcon 9 missile, which fell into the Atlantic Ocean after launching the SES-16 / GovSat-1 communications satellite into orbit.
