The further decision concerning sale or work of the enterprise "Ukrtelecom" will be accepted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

This was announced on the sidelines of the parliament by Acting Chairman of the State Property Fund Vitaly Trubarov.

"One of the functions of the SPF is post privatization control -; in its framework was revealed the failure to fulfill investment obligations during the sale of Ukrtelecom. Accordingly, the court of first instance has already decided to return the block of shares back under state control. The function of the fund does not include the decision to manage Ukrtelecom, and when we bring the trial to the final, I think that at the level of the Cabinet of Ministers, and this is his prerogative, some decision will be made, "B. head of the FGI added that, in his opinion, today there are several options for resolving issues that relate to the future of "Ukrtelecom".

"The first is to transfer a package of these shares to the Ministry, which is organized by the state enterprise, and it will perform its functions according to the existing tasks.

Or the state in the person of the government will say that this enterprise is not needed and will be sent for sale again. And the State Property Fund based on the new law on privatization, will do it ", - concluded V. Trubarov.

As reported, in mid-October 2017, the Kiev Economic Court ruled to terminate the privatization agreement between the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) and the ESU (a subsidiary of SCM and the owner of 92.79% of the operator's shares) with respect to Ukrtelecom.
