Microsoft has announced a partnership with the Indian company Ola. Founded in 2011, Ola is the developer of the most popular mobile hub in India for various public transport services.

Together with Microsoft, the company will create a new platform for connected cars. In this case, Microsoft is chosen as the preferred cloud provider. In particular, Ola will use Microsoft Azure.

Thanks to this, Ola Play customers will be able to use Microsoft tools like Office 365 and Skype for Business. Also, they will be able to use voice controls created using Microsoft Cognitive Services and the Bot framework.

As stated in the press release, the advanced telematics platform will turn the car into a high-performance intelligent device capable of evaluating fuel efficiency, engine performance and driver's capabilities. The platform is designed to continuously collect and analyze large amounts of data.
