This week, the Slavic Police Department received two statements from local residents who were victims of Internet scammers and lost about 60 thousand. hryvna. In both cases, victims under the requirements of the "sellers" made full prepayment.

A 30-year-old resident of the village of Raygorodok, Slavyansky district, told law enforcement officers that she decided to purchase an air generator worth 55,000 hryvnia through one of the sites.

The seller, on the phone introduced himself as a resident of Kharkov, insisted on receiving the entire amount in advance - only after that he allegedly could "ship the goods". The woman transferred the money to the specified account and waited. Only a week later she suspected something was amiss and began to call the "seller". But he did not answer.

At the same time, a 55-year-old resident of Slavyansk suffered in a similar way. The man ordered parts for the car for about 4500 UAH.

Having received the money, the seller "from Kiev" (of course, intruders can call any city) immediately ceased to leave the connection.

Both information were included in a single register of pre-trial investigations under Article 190 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Police officers started inspections.

Police of the Donetsk region reminds: if you need to buy goods via the Internet, contact the "verified" sellers, after making only a deposit or paying after the goods are received (with the help of a cash on delivery service).
