The US Navy in late October tested new hypersonic weapons that could be used to deliver non-nuclear strikes anywhere in the world within an hour. The rocket was launched from a rocket range in the Hawaiian Islands, reports USNI. Data on the flight of the missile were fixed by specialists of the US Missile Defense Agency. It is noted that the US Defense Ministry has long been developing the concept of a rapid global strike. Intercontinental ballistic missiles in non-nuclear equipment and hypersonic missiles are being developed as carriers. During the tests of the new carrier, held in late October, hypersonic engines were tested, hypersonic speed planning and the range of the atmospheric flight. Technical details about tested weapons are not disclosed.

The checks themselves are recognized as successful. According to Vice-Admiral Terry Benedict, the director of the US Navy's Strategic Systems Development Department, the new carriers, if the program of their development is successfully completed, will supplement the range of armaments of nuclear submarines such as Ohio. As reported, the Russian military on Thursday, October 26, launched four intercontinental ballistic missiles as part of exercises to manage the Strategic Nuclear Forces.
