Last night, it was quite unexpectedly known that Raja Koduri (Raja Koduri) was leaving AMD. Raja Koduri was Senior Vice President and Chief Architect of AMD Radeon Technologies Group and controlled all aspects of graphics technologies used in hybrid processors, discrete graphics cards, half-order and graphics processors AMD.
In his time, Koduri had worked for three years in Apple, but then returned to AMD.
Recently it became known that Koduri goes on vacation, however, as it turned out, he will not return to work from vacation.
In his farewell letter to AMD, Koduri did not elaborate on the reasons for leaving, but mentioned that he wants to succeed beyond the hardware. We still wish him luck and hope that AMD will find him a worthy replacement.
One source, referring to his informants, says that Koduri actually left AMD for Intel's work. Considering that the company introduced completely new hybrid processors, it could be believed.
