Based on the gestures of the principle of interaction with the iPhone X, so admired by Western observers, was very coolly received by potential owners of the smartphone. As shown by the survey conducted by phoneArena, the overwhelming majority of respondents, somehow interested in buying, found the management interface of the novelty too confusing.
The main complaint of consumers to the iPhone X was the abundance of similar gestures that are opposite to each other in their actions. For example, both the Smartphone Control Center and the Notification Center are called up on the svaypu down (from the right and left notches at the top of the screen, respectively), and upward you can open the multitasking menu and close the previously launched application.
Someone, in turn, complained about the complicated process of buying applications from the App Store, which now requires incomparably more actions than before, and someone cursed the principle of launching Apple Pay. Despite this, about 40% of respondents who stated about the interface's intricacies turned out to be not ready to refuse to purchase the cherished flagship and agreed to get used to its peculiarities.
More than a third of the respondents stressed that they did not meet with a more complex control system than the iPhone X.
"Such a smartphone is clearly not suitable for older people", - noted the user with the nickname torr310. And although this is unlikely to affect the sales model, the changed logic of interaction, in some moments and completely devoid of intuition, will definitely become a reason for discussions.
The remaining 27% of respondents did not see any difficulties in the management of the iPhone X. And what position do you hold on this issue? Leave the answers in the comments.
