The security service of London's Heathrow Airport is investigating possible data leakage after an unemployed man found a flash drive on London Street containing unprotected information about the security system of the air harbor.

According to the British edition of Sunday Mirror, the "flash drive" contained 76 folders with maps, videos and documents related to the security of the largest airport in London and the conduct of antiterrorist activities. Some data were marked as confidential, but access to them was in no way protected.

In particular, according to the publication, the files included a timetable for patrolling the airport to prevent acts of terrorism, information on the types of identification required for access to various Heathrow sectors, information on the route that Queen Elizabeth II travels to the airport, and the security measures taken, the location map CCTV cameras, routes and measures taken to ensure the safety of members of the Cabinet and foreign officials. How exactly the leak occurred is currently unclear, the newspaper notes..

The man who found the drive, handed it to reporters Sunday Mirror, and those - security service Heathrow.

"We have checked all our security plans and can assure that Heathrow is well protected.

We also started an internal investigation to find out the reasons for the incident, and we are taking measures to prevent similar incidents in the future, "Heathrow said in a comment to SkyNews.
