Google decided to block the automatic playback of video with sound in the browser Chrome, according to the company's blog.

As noted in the message, automatic playback will be possible only if the sound is not included in any other media, or if the browser identifies that "the user is interested in the video". A similar innovation will be introduced, starting with the version of Chrome 64, that is, from January 2018.

In addition, Chrome 63 will have the option to mute the sound for individual sites.

Earlier it was reported that the Google Maps for mobile application has learned how to calculate the likely destination in the navigation mode. To determine the most likely destination, the Driving Mode function analyzes the history of previous routes and the history of search queries. After the application determines the likely place of arrival, the navigator will provide the standard in such cases information about the time in the path, the flux density and possible routes.
