Two scammers in Kiev, under the guise of car dealers, lured money from citizens. This was reported in the Kiev department of the Department of Cyber ??Police.

Attackers registered a limited liability company and opened several Internet sites on which foreign cars were offered with delivery from abroad. The cost of the service was estimated at $ 3000 to $ 10,000.

Having received the money, scammers briefly told customers about unforeseen difficulties that arose in the process of delivery, and then ceased to communicate. Thus, 10 people were deceived. The amount of damage was 30 000 dollars.

The capital's law enforcers stopped the activities of the criminal tandem. During the search, they seized a pistol, computer equipment and $ 40,000.

At the end of July 2017 operatives of cyberpolitics exposed a criminal group that deceived more than 150 citizens.
