Co-founder Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin believes that crypto-currencies can eventually become part of the centralized financial systems with which they were called to fight.
Such a statement Buterin made at a meeting of technical start-ups in Tel Aviv.
The future is not so bright?.
Buterin said that even if there comes a time when the crypto currency will join the existing financial system, they still will not replace traditional money in the near future. He also acknowledged that innovations based on blockbuster technology may be confronted with conventional problems for traditional money, such as severe price fluctuations.
Will the tokens be replaced with fiat money? I believe that there is no.
There are several reasons why governments would like to preserve traditional fiat money, such as dollars and euros, even if some countries switch to using crypto currency.
Buterin also said that institutionalized networks of blockages could prevent the growth of decentralized projects around the world. This includes both excessive regulation and the explosion of the "bubble". He, however, hopes that the industry will be able to survive this.
At the same time, he urged the supporters of the digital currency to be vigilant against various ICOs. This is necessary so that regulators do not receive undue control over this innovative means of collecting money.
More and more countries are beginning to implement crypto-currencies. Nevertheless, more and more countries are seeing the advantages that digital currencies represent and are planning to use them. This year, Buterin already met with representatives of the government and the central bank in Thailand and Russia.
Some banks in Switzerland and India are already studying the implementation of their own crypto-currency systems.
Acceptance of crypto-currencies in society Although most still refer to blockbuster technology with a certain degree of skepticism, this idea is becoming more and more imbued with money democratization, which is reflected, among other things, in the loss of the influence of such huge structures as banks and companies producing and servicing credit cards.
