Amazon filed a patent application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the creation of talking drones. The solution will allow drones to communicate with customers.

According to the patent, Amazon drones will be able to conduct a voice dialogue with a nearby person to request information and / or answer questions. This solution will be useful not only for security reasons, but also for the convenience of customers. For example, a talking drone can be asked to transfer delivery to another time.

In addition, the patent mentions that the drones will ask a person to identify themselves before giving him an order.

Amazon is not yet ready to guarantee that the delivery of drones will be flawless. Thus, the patent states that a drone can be discharged, crashed into something or entangled in something. Due to the ability to talk, the drone can ask a nearby person to perform the necessary action: report the location of the drone, move it, untangle it, send it to the control center or to the place of recharging.
