Google has recently been actively working to ensure that the user can quickly and easily obtain information of interest to him. The services of the search giant constantly offer recommendations based on interests and other collected data. Earlier this year, in the Google branded iOS app, the Trends widget appeared, showing what other people are looking for near where you are located. With the update, this information is displayed on the main application page.

If you click on the search bar in the Google app, you'll see the recent searches below, and below them, trends.

Similar function appeared earlier on Android, but because of negative feedback from users, Google added to the settings the ability to turn it off. iOS also has a similar option.

Another more useful innovation was the search engine prediction function. Just by starting to enter a search query, you can get a quick response to it before you finish typing the text. This function only works with general issues, whether the height of the Eiffel Tower or the results of a sports match.
