At the beginning of the IFA 2017 exhibition, Google announced the expansion of the list of devices that will be supported by the voice assistant Google Assistant.
Support Google Assistant will appear in new acoustic systems, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, dryers and other household appliances. The first models of new home appliances will appear on the market at the end of this year, after which you can finally say "Ok, Google, wash my things".
The first manufacturer, which will release such equipment, will be the South Korean company LG. You can control household appliances through a smartphone or an acoustic system connected to it.
It will be possible to instruct the vacuum cleaner to start cleaning or, for example, to ask how much is left before the end of the wash program.
Speaking of the acoustical systems, we are talking about Sony LF-S50G, Anker Zolo Mojo, JBL Link 10, Link 20 and Link 300, Mobvoi TicHome Mini, Onyko Smart Speaker G3, Panasonic GA10 and Sony LF-S50G.
Google Assistant is already supported by more than 70 vendors, including Honeywell, Netatmo, TP-Link and Wemo.
