The free application "Ukrainian Hryvnia" is available for all users of mobile devices in the App Store, Google Play or on the site of the National Bank.
The National Bank has developed an interactive mobile application "Ukrainian Hryvnia" to demonstrate to users all elements of protection of the national currency of Ukraine.
"Specialists of the National Bank for the first time developed a special mobile application for the protection of the hryvnia, which will allow each of you to get acquainted with the Ukrainian hryvnia closer by using any gadget," said Acting NBU Head Yakov Smoliy during the presentation of the application.
He stressed that the National Bank is constantly upgrading and protecting the Ukrainian currency, embodying the widest possible range of world innovation. In turn, the Director of the Department of Information Technologies of the National Bank of Ukraine, Vladimir Nagornyuk, demonstrated the main features of the application, including video review of the elements of protection using the example of notes with denominations of 100 and 500 UAH.
"In an interactive form, the security features are displayed with an imitation of viewing the banknote against the light, the kinematic effect and elements that are felt touch, as well as images and inscriptions that can be seen with the help of a magnifying glass are displayed," he explained..
Also in the NBU reported that the free application "Ukrainian Hryvnia" is available to all users of mobile devices after it is downloaded to the App Store, Google Play or on the site of the regulator, and in the near future will be presented to the English version of the application.
