Yesterday, on August 30, 2017, the site was announced to be closed by HDClub, one of the leading suppliers of "pirate" HD and 3D content in runet and not only, but HDClub releases often extended to The Pirate Bay and other large trackers. Worked for more than ten years, the site had about 170,000 active users and was one of the 1000 most visited resources of Runet.
All last week the resource actually did not work, and now on its main page there was a message of the following content:.
"Dear users!.
Recently, we receive several dozens of complaints from rightholders weekly, and our community is attacked and espionage.
In parallel, there is a tightening of Internet legislation in Russia, Ukraine and EU countries.
And finally, the time of enthusiasts irretrievably goes away.
In the circumstances, we are no longer able to support the work of the club in the originally conceived format.
The project is closed, and we ask you to refrain from loud wires. Thank you all and good-bye!.
There are negotiations on preserving the heritage of the club ".
The administration does not specify in what form it is intended to preserve the legacy of HDClub, nor does it explain what is meant by "attacks and espionage," one can only assume that it is DDoS attacks and attempts by third parties to penetrate into the closed resource community.
