The Verkhovna Rada registered a bill on countering telephone spam. This is reported by UBR. Ua.
The authors of the draft People's Deputy Borislav Bereza (non-factional) and Leonid Yemets (People's Front). They propose to introduce the concept of "spam" in the Law of Ukraine "About Telecommunications" and to establish penalties for operators for unauthorized mailings.
In the explanatory note, the authors ask to give subscribers the right to require operators to ensure non-proliferation and blocking of spam. And also impose penalties from 30 to 40 non-taxable minimum income (up to 680 UAH).
For the actions committed repeatedly during the year, the fine will amount to 50-100 lows (850 - 1700 UAH).
Under spam, deputies understand any messages, including text, multimedia and voice messages, that come to the subscriber without his prior consent.
