Recently, more and more lawsuits have been filed against Apple in which the company is accused of traffic accidents caused by the use of the iPhone. Although in most cases courts stand on the side of the technological giant, many of the demands of plaintiffs are puzzling.

One of the cases starts back in 2013, when a fatal crash happened in the US through the fault of the driver, who dialed the message on the iPhone while driving. The father of the deceased sued Apple and accused the company of the lack of a system that would prevent the use of a mobile phone while driving.

As a result, the judge sided with Apple, saying that the corporation's fault in the incident is unproven, and all claims of the plaintiff - unreasonable. Nevertheless, the number of such claims is growing, several were filed in 2016. The consideration is still ongoing. It is not entirely clear why the victims are accused of everything Apple, although in fact the culprits of such incidents are those who decided to distract themselves on the iPhone while driving a car.

Apple seems to have realized that sooner or later one of the American ships can satisfy such a lawsuit, so iOS 11 has a long-awaited feature for many motorists that does not disturb while driving, which not only blocks all incoming calls, messages and notifications, When you are driving, it also sends automatic answers to subscribers at the request of the driver. The system will not block calls if the caller is talking with Bluetooth in the car or an accessory hands-free.
