The National Health Service of Great Britain (NHS) again fell victim to cybercriminals. On Friday, the service systems were infected with malicious programs. Attack to the malware were computers for work with personnel and telephone systems in three hospitals. There is no information on what kind of data could be compromised by malware, but according to experts, the theft of information is unlikely.
The hospital administration urged patients to visit emergency departments only in case of emergency.
All meetings on the record will be postponed until the time when the trouble-free operation is established and all the necessary backups have been made.
Problems with the NHS led to the fact that technical support, the banking system and the telephones of employees were disabled. This was reported on the Facebook page. In connection with the incident, some systems had to be disconnected from the network to prevent further spread of malware.
This is not the first case of infection of the National Health Service with malware. Similar things happened in January this year.
