The Swift programming language, created by Apple for developers under iOS and macOS, this year will enter the curriculum of 30 leading colleges from the United States of America. AppleInsider. Ru learned this from a press release published by the company. As part of the forthcoming program, Apple expects to train 74,000 students from different parts of the country and abroad.

"Today, we personally see how the application ecosystem for Apple devices is turning into an independent economic layer, creating millions of jobs and generating new industries in the industry," said Tim Cook.

"We sincerely believe that the opportunity [to study Swift] should appear in all educational institutions, becoming equally accessible to everyone".

The full course, which teaches programming on Swift, was previously available in the iBooks Store. The program is designed for novice developers who have no experience in creating applications. With due perseverance, says Apple, even a person completely remote from programming by the end of the course can independently write a full-featured program for one of the platforms.
