The construction of the new Apple campus has caused a lot of inconvenience to the population of nearby areas, writes the local newspaper The Mercury News. In addition to the noise of working machinery and construction dust that filled the air for four years, the residents complain of blinding light beating from panoramic windows and a spoiled view of the Santa Cruz Mountains from the south.

"We fully felt disregard for our people," says Bonnie Lieberman, a resident of the area in which Apple Park is located. "Since we live on the outskirts of the city, no one cares about us". According to Lieberman, she and her neighbors repeatedly complained to the city authorities for the terrible noise, receiving in response only the promise of an early correction of the situation.

The official position of Apple, however, is different. According to the company's representatives, they always reacted in a timely manner to complaints of local residents, trying to eradicate the factors irritating them. So, Apple on an ongoing basis provided all contact coupons for visiting a car wash, offsetting their costs of cleaning cars from settling dust.

"We are well aware of the discontent of the local people," said Dan Wiesenhant, Apple's vice president for real estate and development.

"Over the past few years, we've received many e-mails [with complaints], and I must say I personally read each one of them. If the inconveniences of the local residents were indeed so intolerable, I would settle them at home ".

Whatever it was in reality, but the emergence of Apple Park had a significant impact on the rise in property prices in Sunnyvale. The current trend allows dissatisfied new neighborhoods to change their place of residence without damage to the family budget, and the brand's fans - to settle in a new tourist "mecca".
