Korea Herald reported details about the face recognition system in the iPhone 8. It is reported that the technology is working incredibly fast: "a scanner with 3D-sensors can examine the user's face in millionths of a second". Three-dimensional sensors will also appear from behind - they will be used for augmented reality.

At the same time, the resource transmits that Apple did not have time to implement the fingerprint sensor through the display and the iPhone 8 will not receive a Touch ID.

The face scanner will completely replace fingerprint identification. According to some rumors, Samsung also tried to implement a fingerprint scanner via the screen in the Galaxy Note 8 model, but, like Apple, nothing happened.

Previously, there was information that the face scanner would get advanced features: the alleged smartphone will learn to determine when the user is looking at the screen. The new smartphone Apple should get major changes that relate primarily to the design of the device.
