The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) approved the previously published provision for public discussion on the use of electronic signature in the banking system of the country.

This was reported by the press service of the NBU.

"Its implementation creates a regulatory framework for the use of paperless technologies in the provision of banking services continues the process of implementing the project #Paperless, the essence of which is the maximum possible rejection of paper documents when servicing banks' customers," the department noted..

It is assumed that the implementation of the provisions of this provision will help to reduce the cost of banking products, which, accordingly, will reduce the final cost of services for customers, and also improve the quality and speed of servicing customers.
