Apple is preparing to move to a new headquarters, which was approved personally by Steve Jobs. Nevertheless, a number of employees, according to rumors, do not share the tastes of the founder of the company. A person familiar with the situation recently told a curious story: the department responsible for developing the processors will work in a separate building allegedly because of discontent with the new campus.
According to the source, Apple's senior vice president of hardware technology Joni Srugi was not enthusiastic about the new campus and found it unsuitable for his team. The position of the top manager concerned not the design, but the layout:
he allegedly criticized the campus, looking at the blueprints.
However, there is another reason for the work of the department in another building - the requirement for security. The company is struggling with information leaks, and information about developments in the field of "iron" can be considered particularly valuable.
In late July, the Wall Street Journal wrote that the group of programmers also did not like the new campus: they believe that the work environment would be too noisy and distracting.
