Travis Kalanik will not return to the post of head of Uber. This was reported in his letter to co-founder Uber Garrett Camp.

Camp's letter was a response to reports in the media that Kalanik was allegedly preparing the ground for returning to the chair of the company's general director. Thousands of Uber employees signed a petition requesting him to reinstate him.

According to the publication of Recode, Kalanik really announced his intention to return to the company, in private conversations calling it "a return on the model of Steve Jobs".
