The ability to update the "full" smartphone was realized thanks to the division of the device's memory into the system and user partitions.

In the new version of Android, the firmware will be downloaded immediately to the system partition, bypassing the user interface, while in the current and earlier versions of the update, first the downloads are downloaded to the user section.

This approach will also reduce the time it takes to install the update - the resulting files will not need to be copied from one partition to another.

Another important innovation in the upcoming version of Android will be the "panic button", which will quickly close a dangerous application that can block the device or disrupt its operation.
