Microsoft employees created a chat-bot, which is designed to calculate potential customers of illegal sites for the sale of sex services. This is reported by Wired.

Developers hid the chat-bot under fake sex-ads and taught to conduct a conversation. The robot can discuss with the interlocutor the criteria that potential customers are interested in: the expected age, body type, specialization on certain sex slave fetishes.

But as soon as the interlocutor goes on to discuss a specific purchase, the bot reports to him about the illegality of the actions.

"The purchase of a sex slave is illegal and can seriously harm the victim, and also contributes to the development of human trafficking," says the bot.

Data on the conversation are transferred to law enforcement agencies.

Thus, the developers intend to stop the growth of the illegal market for sex-slave trade. According to the national hotline in the United States, in 2016 there were more than five thousand complaints of violent actions against abducted people, but in most cases victims are still afraid to report what happened.
