By June 2017 Viber has 920 million unique users compared to 823 million a year earlier. In March this year, the number of subscribers was about 891 million people.
In the second quarter of 2017, Viber's revenue increased 91% year-on-year due to increased sales of content within applications and the number of customers using calls with the Viber Out feature.
Approximately 73% of Viber's revenues come from telecommunications services, the remainder - to content.
Viber is designed to exchange text, voice and video messages. Users can send free text messages, photos, videos, make calls to other Viber users. Service is available in 193 countries of the world.
