Sometimes it's hard to predict which products Apple will show us and how they will be called. The task was greatly simplified by agencies for the registration of trademarks. Thanks to them, we learned about the existence of the iPhone 7 and AirPods long before Apple showed us these products. However, Apple has done its best to ensure that such situations do not recur.

It will be fair to note that not only Apple, but other major technology companies, such as Google. Companies register names for new products in countries without a trademark database, which implies the ability to search. These are Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Peru and Jamaica.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims that Jamaica has become Apple's favorite place to hide the names of future products. The only way to find out if there are any new registered trademarks from Apple in Jamaica is to travel to an island or hire a Jamaican lawyer.

The result met expectations. We could not even imagine that a smart Apple column would be named HomePod, although the brand was registered. Let's hope that with this approach Apple will be able to surprise us more.
