Despite the fact that the Internet segment of things for Intel is, according to its own statements, one of the most important for development, the company systematically abandons its developments in this field.

Recently, Intel ceased production of Edison, Joule and Galileo products, and now it became known that the company decided to abandon one of its fundamental products in this area: the single-chip Quark system, introduced in 2013.

More precisely, the source assumes that the processor giant stopped development based on Quark solutions, although there have been no official statements on this issue.

The assumption is based on the information we already know. This is a rejection of the above products of this segment, and rumors concerning the closure of the department of portable electronics.
