Apple often opens its retail stores in unusual places - which only costs the Apple Store in Dubai or a shop under construction with a cover from the MacBook. However, the company's new site is different from all the others.
The technology giant received permission to open a retail store in the famous Carnegie Library, located on Mount Vernon in Washington, DC. Apple will conclude a lease for 10 years, the area is 1650 square meters, reports 9to5Mac.
It is noted that the historical society will continue to work in the building on the basis of a lease for 99 years, including a museum and a library. Apple itself is also going to open there not just a store, but a full-fledged social object, where there will be places for interactive training, a stage for concerts and much more.
When the new store opens, it is still unknown, but according to rumors, Apple plans to begin work this year.
