The MacGeneration site was able to download and test the Project Nimbus photo editing application that Adobe showed last year. The company said that the program briefly became available to some subscribers of the Creative Cloud. Later, the developers deleted it.

Project Nimbus resembles the Photos app and the iCloud image library on iOS and macOS, but with more features. Users can store photos in the cloud, edit them and synchronize between devices.

According to the leak, along with Project Nimbus, the user will receive 1 terabyte in the storage. The service supports RAW files. In the application, you can cancel any change made to the photo from any device.

In terms of editing, the new Adobe product differs significantly from Lightroom. There are fewer tools in it, they are simpler in themselves. Thanks to this program will not scare off newbies and will allow you to use the same functions on the computer, phone and tablet with the same convenience.

One of the key features of Project Nimbus is the search system. The program can determine the contents of your photos. Therefore, you, like in Google Photos, can search for pictures by keywords.

The new application will not be the new main application of photographers. But it will help to maintain order in the collection of images.

The leak makes it clear that Adobe has not abandoned the development of Project Nimbus and that the product is likely to become available to the public soon.
