In the fourth beta version of iOS 11, which became available to developers last night, Apple changed the "Memory Capacity" item in the "About This Device" section of the basic settings for the iPhone and iPad.

If earlier the memory capacity was shown in this item minus the operating system (for example, for the iPhone 6, for example, 60.33 GB of 64 GB), now the total capacity of the device is shown here, as Apple writes on its website or in the store.

The developers note that with this Apple simply reduced the amount of free space in the "Available". Thus, the company eliminated the contradiction between information on the site and in the device settings.
