An extraordinary meeting of shareholders of LeEco, which is in crisis, could not choose a new chairman. As we have already reported, the founder of LeEco left the chair at the beginning of the month. Shareholders could choose only three new members of the board of directors.

The crisis was caused by the too rapid expansion of the conglomerate, engaged in several areas of activity, as a result of which LeEco does not manage to ensure sufficient inflow of funds in time to pay with creditors.

The situation escalated last week when Vizio sued LeEco, claiming $ 110 million in connection with the failed $ 2 billion deal.

To help LeEco can come the second largest shareholder of this company, the developer Sunac China Holdings. It is expected that he will gradually take control of various divisions of LeEco.
