The founder of Telegram Pavel Durov said that the messenger team will join a group of moderators with knowledge of the Indonesian language in order to actively cooperate with the authorities of the country in terms of blocking terrorist propaganda. He told about this in his Telegram-channel.

Earlier it became known that in Indonesia they blocked Telegram.

Durov said that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Indonesia sent the Telegram team a list of channels with terrorist propaganda, but experts could not quickly block them.

In this regard, the founder of the messenger added, the leadership will take three steps in order to work more actively with the authorities of the country. Thus, according to him, Telegram will establish a direct communication channel with the Indonesian Ministry.

"We are creating a special team of moderators with knowledge of the Indonesian language and culture to be able to respond to requests for content related to terrorism more quickly and accurately," added Durov.

The founder of Telegram noted that he had already sent his proposals to the Indonesian Ministry.
