The territory of the new Apple Park campus arose, of course, not from the air - previously there were various buildings and vegetation. Before construction, the company safely cleared a part of the territory of the town of Cupertino, but took on an unusual obligation: to restore a century-old barn and place it in its original place - now close to its campus.
The barn was dismantled very carefully: the builders numbered not only each board, but also every nail in order to accurately restore the old building. In case one of the boards is damaged in the process, Apple bought rare mahogany. And if before it was visible only the frame of the barn, now the builders have completely finished its restoration.
The construction can be admired in a new video by Matthew Roberts, who traditionally made a control "flight" of the entire campus.
In addition to the barn, you can see that the construction is still under way and is unlikely to be completely over by the autumn, when the presentation of the new iPhone.
Interestingly, Roberts did not say anything about the fact that he was prevented from filming a drone over the Apple campus. Recall another blogger recently had to interrupt his "flight" after meeting with the security service Apple, which threatened to call the police.
When Apple Park is completed, it will be surrounded by 9000 trees, numerous pedestrian and bicycle paths. The old barn the company plans to use as a utility room.
