According to the tradition established by Taiwanese manufacturers, Gigabyte Technology, which specializes in the production of motherboards, video cards and gaming computers, reported revenue in the past month.

In June 2017, sales from Gigabyte jumped immediately by 23.6% compared to May and amounted to 5.54 billion Taiwan dollars (181.35 million US dollars). Year on year, revenue increased by 14.1%, according to DigiTimes.

The company has yet to disclose the data on quarterly sales, however, according to the official website of Gigabyte, its consolidated revenue since early 2017 reached 27.

3 billion Taiwan dollars (775 million US dollars), which is almost 9% higher than the figures of the previous year. It is also reported that for the entire 2016 Gigabyte raised 52.34 billion Taiwan dollars.

Earlier, market experts predicted a rise in sales from Gigabyte in April-June amid rising demand for its graphics cards, which are in high demand from so-called "miners" - people engaged in the production of crypto-currency or "mining".

According to experts, Gigabyte will report revenue of 12-13 billion Taiwan dollars (400.8-434.2 million US).
