Intel continues to reduce the direction of the Internet of things. According to the source, the processor giant intends to fire almost one and a half hundred people working in this direction.

To be more precise, 97 people working in Santa Clara will be fired, and another 40 people in the Irish division of Intel. The reduction is scheduled for August 15. Regarding the dismissal in Santa Clara, there is no exact data, but the reduction in Ireland is associated with the refusal to support Galileo.

Recall, in addition to Galileo motherboards, Intel ceased to support and sell the Edison microcomputer and the Joule.
