How much are smartphone owners loyal to the brand?

Almost 50% of consumers prefer to buy smartphones of the same brand several times in a row. This was shown by a public opinion poll conducted among the readers of phonearena. The respondents motivate their choice not by loyalty to the brand, but by the convenience of the software shell and by the involvement in the ecosystem.

At the same time, 40% of respondents noted that they are not inclined to adhere to a strictly defined brand when choosing a new smartphone. A wide range of models on the market, rapidly developing technologies and the desire for novelty each time push them to purchase products from competitors.

The remaining respondents said that they were extremely unhappy with their current smartphone and therefore expressed a desire to change it to another.

At the same time, the participants themselves say, it does not matter to them what brand the new model will belong to. The main thing for them is the elimination of shortcomings.

Earlier it became known that the majority of iPhone owners are loyal to the brand from the first model. All of them, as well as users of devices on Android, are attracted by the logicality and thoughtfulness of the operating system interface. Company branded services like iMessage and iCloud for iOS users are less interested in.
