The operatives of the criminal investigation department of the Sumy police department established the identity of an intruder who, through the Internet, "sold" to the residents of Ukraine nonexistent equipment.

During the implementation of operational measures aimed at preventing fraud in the Internet, employees of the Sumy police department exposed a 16-year-old student of one of the vocational schools of the regional center. The guy posted on a well-known site, ads on the sale of motoblocks and mini tractors, reinforced them with photographs and waited for those wishing to purchase agricultural equipment. When the buyers were, was called the manager, promised to deliver the goods to the buyer in time, but noted that for the delivery of the dimensional goods, you must first make a full prepayment. People believed the "manager", and transferred money to the specified account.

In a short time, the attacker managed to deceive four people from the Sumy, Poltava, Mykolayiv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions and seize their money for a total of about 10 thousand hryvnia.

The police opened criminal proceedings on h. 2 items. 190 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine or correctional labor for a period of one to two years, or restriction of freedom for up to five years or imprisonment for up to three years. The investigation continues, according to the Department of Communication of the Police of the Sumy region.
