The French organization CNIL issued a press release in which it told that the Windows 10 operating system now meets the requirements of confidentiality in this country after changes in the update of the Creators Update. CNIL was one of the regulators expressing concern about the number of Microsoft's collected computers from Windows 10 data. The company could be fined if it refused to make changes.

It did not refuse and changes were made, as a result of which Windows 10 now meets the requirements set earlier this year. For example, half of the data collected at the "basic" telemetry level has been reduced, only the most necessary information is now sent to the company's servers.

Users are informed that the advertising identifiers track their work in the browser for the distribution of targeted advertising. When you install Windows 10, more information is displayed and more control over privacy settings is given.

It is also reported that the security of the operating system is strengthened. In particular, this refers to pin-codes that allow access to network services and the Microsoft account, widespread combinations of PIN codes are forbidden. If you enter incorrectly, the next attempt can be made only after a while.
