LG plans to hold a presentation of the G7 smartphone less than a year after the release of the flagship of the current generation. This is the authoritative South Korean edition of The Investor, citing knowledgeable sources in the industry. According to available information, the novelty can be presented during the upcoming CES exhibition, which will be held in January 2018 in Las Vegas.

Among the most likely reasons contributing to the transfer of the presentation to an earlier date, insiders call a kind of fiasco of the manufacturer, forced to equip the flagship of 2016 with last year's processor.

The upcoming novelty is designed to change the market situation in favor of LG, already engaged in the development of the Snapdragon 845 chip together with Qualcomm.

It is also noted that similarly LG is going to enter with sub-flagship V30. The smartphone will be presented a month ahead of the predecessor model during the September IFA conference in Berlin.
