The Japanese conglomerate Toshiba will not be able to submit a final financial report for the past year in terms set by regulators. This is reported by the information agency "Reuters" with reference to the business newspaper Nikkei.

Toshiba needs to publish a report audited by the auditors for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017 calendar, not later than June 30. However, the company will not be in time by this time and will publish the data with a delay of two or two and a half months, writes Nikkei.

After Toshiba reported multibillion-dollar write-downs in the nuclear business, the corporation began to provide regulators with reports that were not approved by the audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers Aarata.

At the same time Toshiba promises to continue working with an independent auditor to have time to submit a financial report in accordance with Japanese law. Delinquency may lead to the withdrawal of shares from the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

At the next meeting of shareholders, which will be held on June 28, Toshiba management intends to publicize the revenue forecast, tell about the status of auditing and investments in the semiconductor business, which is for sale.
