Well-known Russian blogger Ilya Varlamov became persona non grata in Ukraine. "Apostrophe" appealed to the Security Service of Ukraine with the question whether this body had taken a decision on this citizen of the Russian Federation, since he had previously illegally visited the occupied territories and published reports from Donetsk and the Crimea.
The SBU's response says that it was decided to ban Varlamov from entering Ukraine.
"According to h. 3 items. 13 of the Law of Ukraine "On the legal status of aliens and stateless persons," the Security Service of Ukraine decided to ban entry to Ukraine specified by you in a request to a Russian citizen, "reads the text of the document.
