This week, an annual conference for developers of WWDC 2017 was held, in which a lot of new products were presented. Apple paid special attention to iOS 11. The platform this fall will please a huge number of new features, such as the radically updated Control Point and App Store. However, there are things that disappointed: not everything that users requested was realized in iOS 11.

Support for accounts.

In iOS 11 there is a huge emphasis on the iPad, but for some reason the support of several accounts has not appeared. At the heart of many concepts of the new iPad was the ability to add several different accounts, but Apple decided not to implement such a functional.

With multiple accounts, it would feel like you're using a full-fledged computer, not a tablet. In addition, users could store work and personal files separately from each other. This would also appeal to companies in which employees use the iPad for work purposes, since one device can be used by several employees.

Dark theme of the design.

The list of desirable functions of iOS 11 has always led the ability to install a dark interface, but, unfortunately, there is no such function in the new version of the system. In the settings appeared "Smart Inversion", which inverts the colors, but it does not concern the photos and videos, but it can not be called a full-fledged dark theme, since it is more functional for people with disabilities. In addition, the interface colors are inverted even in third-party applications. For example, the official VC client looks terrible.

FaceTime group calls.

Another popular request among users is group calls in FaceTime, but so far iOS 11 has not found any hint at this, despite the fact that earlier this year there were rumors about the introduction of video and audio conferences.

It is noteworthy that as early as 2015, in one of the TV series "American Family" was an imitation of a group call in FaceTime.

Mouse support.

Many users have long been asking Apple to add mouse support to the iPad, others at the same time claim that this option is meaningless. The ability to control the apple tablet with the mouse will undoubtedly open a whole new set of possibilities, but Apple again says that iOS is optimized for touch control, and macOS is for controlling the mouse.

Accounting of consumed products.

Unfortunately, the native Health app still can not offer users the power tracking feature. Of course, the App Store has many programs that allow you to monitor what you eat and have integration with Apple Health, but in this way you give access to your data to a completely different company.

Default apps.

Another function, which many have been asking for a long time - the default application change for specific actions. For example, it would be great to be able to set Google Chrome as the default browser, so that all links open immediately in it. This is supported in macOS, but why did not you bring it to iOS?.

Setting multiple timers.

A minor function that you are unlikely to use often, but in some cases it may come in handy. For example, when cooking, you could set a timer for 60 minutes for lasagna, 15 minutes for vegetables and 5 minutes for toast.

Anything else?.

It is worth noting that the above listed features may appear with further updates or in the new iPhone. So Apple can save a full dark interface for the iPhone 8 with an OLED display.
