On the night of June 10, the rapid reaction group of the Khortitsa Regiment, together with the officers of the Zaporozhye patrol police, detained intruders who were engaged in the theft of underground communication cables.

The day before, the group traveled twice to the alarm of Ukrtelecom. For the first time, at ul.. Voronezhskaya 1, open hatches and cut-off cables were found in them, but the intruders did not manage to get their booty. The second time, after a couple of hours, there was an alarm on the street Zaporizhzhya Cossacks.

There, under the ground in the heating main, fresh traces of intruders and cut cables were found.

On June 10, the Khortytsky regiment again arrived on the street of the Zaporozhye Cossacks for the purpose of preventive check of the heating main. And this time the exit was fruitful - the offenders were detained red handed at the scene of the crime and handed over to the officers of the patrol police.

According to police, detainees have been repeatedly convicted. They are checked for involvement in committing similar crimes.
