The Supreme Court refused to allow the mobile operator of MTS Ukraine to review the Supreme Economic Court's decision of November 1, which refused to return 250 million hryvnia from deposits from Platinum Bank.
This is stated in the court ruling of May 17, Ukrainian News transfers..
On November 1, 2016, the Supreme Economic Court quashed decisions of previous courts that obliged Platinum Bank to return MTS-Ukraine UAH 250 million.
The company demanded to recover from the bank debt on three deposits in the amount of 250 million hryvnia: a deposit of 100 million hryvnia placed at 21.5% in October 2014 and placed in December 2014 deposits of UAH 70 million for 22% and UAH 80 million for 23%.
Also, the Higher Economic Court decided to send the case for a new examination.
Recall that in July 2016, the mobile operator brought the National Bank to court, accusing him of inaction about the return of debts by Platinum Bank.
After reviewing the case, the Kyiv Appeal Economic Court denied Platinum Bank's claim and recognized the fairness of the claims of MTS Ukraine.
Later, the court again took the side of MTS Ukraine in the case for 250 million hryvnia.
