Blippar, which specializes in the development of mobile applications, announced a new program for the iPhone. She knows how to recognize cars and knows everything about their characteristics - a kind of Shazam for cars.

It's about extending the existing Blippar application, which allows you to recognize various objects and to recognize their technical characteristics. Previously, the program could define flowers, dishes, animals and faces. However, now the application is able to recognize cars that have been manufactured since 2000 to our days.

To use the function, just point the iPhone to the desired object. Automobile Shazam presents such information about the car as the specifications, the year the model appeared, the feedback of other users, as well as its approximate cost. In addition, the application provides the possibility of a virtual visit to the cabin of the vehicle.

As noted by the developers, the program recognizes not only parked cars. Blippar can also work in the case of a moving car, if its speed does not exceed 25 km / h.
