On the resource Emojipedia there was an innovation - the algorithm will tell how actual this or that emoji. The service uses Google Trends algorithms and, based on the information received, shows a graph of the popularity of smiles or other icons. Trends change frequently - it's hard to keep up with fashion trends, and the new Emojipedia function will help you decide on modern smileys.

Developers have assembled emoji from popular platforms:

there are options for icons from Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, LG, Facebook, Twitter and a number of other companies. The system works simply - you need to select the smile you like and click the "Statistics" button. At the same time Emojipedia shows how one and the same emotji looks in different services.

Emoji appeared at the end of the last century: they were invented by the Japanese Sigetaka Kurita, who worked on the project of mobile Internet i-mode. The first package of smileys consisted of 172 icons.
