Sumy police seek out scams that cash in on the trust of citizens, creating fake ads on the Internet. This time, the victims were residents Glukhovsky and Trostyanetsky area, which, trying to purchase parts for a motorcycle and a car, lost their money.

A report on fraud in police officers came from a 26-year-old resident of Glukhov and a 32-year-old resident of Trostyants. Men complained about scammers who, on the pretext of selling goods over the Internet, having received money for it, promised they never sent. And if the first victim on a well-known ad site tried to buy tires for a motorcycle, transferring an attacker 1780 hryvnia, another transferred 5400 hryvnia to a so-called seller, buying auto parts.

Now, according to two facts, the employees of the Glukhov department and the Trostyanets police department opened criminal proceedings on h. 1 st.

190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud) and take measures to identify persons of intruders.

Law enforcers check account holders where money was sent and warn citizens of such scams and advise residents of the region not to transfer money for the goods to strangers, and pay for it upon receipt of it.

Use only trusted online stores and remember that a lucrative offer may hide a common intruder. Be weighed in your actions, and if you decide to recount money, think about the possible consequences.
